In the software industry, testing is an integral part of the development life cycle. The automation of tests – whose main objective is to improve the quality of service delivered to clients – is perfectly in line with their Quality approach.

The first need was to automate smoke tests during the finalization phase of a large-scale product renewal. Smoke tests consist in validating that an application works after its deployment or launch. The second objective was to be able to integrate these automated test campaigns into the continuous integration and deployment processes. These two steps were an integral part of the software production chain, to ensure the functional quality of the product during the development phase.
